  1. GST Portal: Revised AATO Amendment Window

The GSTN issued a critical advisory shifting the operational timeline for modifying your Aggregate Annual Turnover (AATO).

Previously (up to FY 2024-25), taxpayers were accustomed to amending their AATO on the portal during the month of May. However, due to system upgrades enabling automatic AATO updates as subsequent returns are filed, the window for FY 2025-26 has been completely rescheduled:

    • Taxpayer Amendment Window: 01 July to 31 July 2026 (Facility is live now).

    • Tax Officer Review Window: 01 August to 15 August 2026 (Jurisdictional officers will verify amended details).

  2. 15 July 2026 – MCA CCFS Amnesty Scheme Closes: The Ministry of Corporate Affairs’ Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme (CCFS-2026) ends. This is the absolute final day for non-compliant companies to clear backlogs with a 90% waiver on accumulated late filing penalties.
